Goal: The aim of the course is to introduce the main directions of computer-assisted surgery, modern medicine, and service robotics. Course description: The course presents the most important technological trends in computer-assisted surgery, including robot-assisted surgery, surgical skill assessment, image-guided surgery, neural network–based medical image processing, and medical imaging. It also introduces service robots, their applications, and standardization aspects.
