Full Scholarships opportunity for ICT Academy Students to Top Universities to China

The ICT Academy Programme is now able to offer Full Scholarship opportunities to ICT Academy students. The Scholarship is fully funded by China Government but only available to EU member countries.

This is a great opportunity for European students to travel and learn abroad, as well as study the Mandarin and learn more about China’s culture.

International Summer School The National University of Uzbekistan

Summer School at NUUz The aim of the Summer School is to develop knowledge and understanding of the culture and history of Uzbekistan, through immersion in an environment with a rich historical and cultural heritage, attendance at classes run by experts in the field and immersion in the historical environment (visiting) of one of the most beautiful cities in Central Asia, Samarkand.

Venue: Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Programme includes :

  • Orientation block (introduction to NUUz)
  • 1 Academic block (Lectures, workshops, discussions, brainstorming)
  • 2 Practical block (Visits to museums and theatres)
  • 3 Cultural and educational block (Trips and excursions to important places)

COSTS COVERAGE

by NUUz: Meeting the participants at the airport, Transfer to the accommodation and venues, Registration of invitations (applications) for visa applications for participants (if necessary), Travel to Samarkand, Accommodation in the NUUz dormitory for international students,

by the participants: Flight tickets, Health insurance, Registration to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Entry to museums and theatres

20 students from NUUz and partner universities will be selected through a competitive selective process to participate in the International Summer School. Duration of the programme 10 days

City University of Hong Kong PhD Fellowship 2023/24

City University of Hong Kong (CityU), one of eight government-funded institutions in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), is a modern, hi-tech institution committed to providing a high-quality learning environment for its students and the community. It has a vibrant research culture and has gained an excellent reputation for research and innovation in a wide range of disciplines. It has an outstanding team of academics dedicated to advancing knowledge to benefit society and the region. CityU currently has a student enrolment of over 20,000, of which over 8,000 are postgraduates.

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme, established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the HKSAR government, aims to attract the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their research degree programmes in Hong Kong’s institutions.

The Fellowship provides awardees with a monthly stipend of HK$27,100 (~US$3,474) and a conference and research related travel allowance of HK$13,600 (~US$1,744) per year for a maximum of three years. For Fellowship awardees who are admitted to a 4-year PhD programme, CityU will provide a monthly studentship at the same level as the RGC Fellowship for their fourth year of study.
