Visit by representatives of international partner institutions

On 8th May, representatives of several partner universities from abroad came to our university as part of the Erasmus Staff Week organised by the International Education Office. The colleagues came from 4 continents and 17 countries to learn about our university and to exchange experiences and good practices. As one of the last stops of their week-long programme was that they visited the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics on Thursday 11th May.

The colleagues from the partner institutions visited the IT Evolution exhibition, then visited the University Research and Innovation Centre, and got acquainted with the research and development work at the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics in health informatics and robotics. The tour continued with a short classroom visit, where the colleagues were able to gain first-hand insight into the practical teaching of our Faculty. Finally, they were introduced to the Neumann Faculty’s portfolio and training palette, followed by a valuable discussion on common points of contact and ways forward.

We would like to thank our colleagues for their participation and the International Education Office for the organisation!
