The NIK faculty has been providing quality education to its computer science students for over a decade, a tradition started by its institutional predecessors over 50 years ago. Over the years, NIK has provided a large base of professionals for the labor market while maintaining its level of excellence. We aim to create a community where we can keep our exceptional professionals together and allow them to continue networking with one another. It is important that our alumni stay in touch with each other and with the faculty. Our goal is to keep them up to date with the latest news from the university, events, professional projects, and corporate opportunities.
Over the years, the popularity of the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics at Obuda University has grown rapidly. Currently, we offer undergraduate courses (BSc), a wide range of postgraduate courses (MSc), and specialized advanced training for our students. In 2023, more than two thousand people applied to study at NIK, and more than 800 of them were accepted. With the ever-increasing number of students, it is becoming increasingly important for us to have an alumni community from which our students can truly benefit, even during their studies. The community can provide them with professional opportunities that can advance their careers and give them an edge by learning from the experiences of their peers.
